Biographical Information:

I am an Associate Professor of Finance at the College of Business at Colorado State University. Prior to joining CSU, I was an Associate Professor of Finance at the Farmer School of Business at Miami University (Ohio). My research focuses on the mechanisms that influence CEO and director incentives around important corporate decisions like acquisitions. These mechanisms include corporate governance policies, compensation practices, antitakeover provisions, and CEO and director labor markets.

My research has been presented at the AFA, WFA, FMA, Drexel, and ALEA conferences and has been published in the Journal of Financial Economics, the Review of Financial Studies, the Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis, Management Science, and the Harvard Business Law Review.
